Detroit Chapter Members, Family, & Friends Tour Detroit Branch, Federal Reserve

On August 19, 2010 nearly 50 Detroit Chapter Members, families, and friends enjoyed a fun and informative morning at the Detroit Branch, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.  Following a delicious breakfast, we were given an interesting presentation and video describing the role of the Federal Reserve, and the Detroit Branch.  This was followed by a tour of the facility where we watched robots, machines, and humans verify, count, and destroy millions of dollars of old currency.

Attendees who attained their first CPP certification in 2009 were recognized at our November 19 meeting:  (l to r) Sharon Truax, CPP; Barbara Mattson, CPP; Lorraine Peak, CPP; Brandy Campbell, CPP; and Michelle Stock, CPP.

This website developed and maintained by Roger A. Smith, CPP

Our next CPP Preparation class is scheduled to begin in May 2011.

The next exam window is 9/11/10—10/9/10.
