CPP Exam Study Group

Registration is closed for this year’s CPP Preparation Class, presented in conjunction with Schoolcraft College.  Our next class will be held May-August, 2009.  Registration will open in April 2009.

The Chapter is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to providing educational, communication, and networking opportunities for payroll professionals.

News Flash — Next Chapter Meetings

Mark your calendars.  Our next Chapter meeting will be held September 16, 2008.  We are finalizing the location and speaker.  Also, the 19th Annual Michigan Statewide Conference for Payroll Professionals will be held at the Marriott Centerpoint in Pontiac on October 16-17.

Update — July Chapter Meeting

Our July Chapter meeting featured Larry White, CPP, Director of Payroll Training for the APA, presenting the “Seven Surreptitious Symptoms of Redshirt Leadership.”  Larry’s fun and informative presentation included the seven symptoms, a leadership style self-assessment, and the origins of the term “Red Shirt Leadership.”  Another delicious buffet luncheon at the Skyline Club preceded the presentation.

 

Bulletin Board

The Chapter Bulletin Board is used to post payroll-related notices of meetings, educational events, and networking or benchmarking opportunities.  The most recent posting was made July 28, 2008.
