Previous charity donations

Our previous conferences have been sell-outs, so plan now to attend "Through the Years” - the 20th Annual Michigan Statewide Conference for Payroll Professionals.  Registrations and workshop selections will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.  Make sure you indicate your workshop selections with your registration.

 

Hotel Information:  The Crowne Plaza Hotel, Grand Rapids Airport is located at 5700 28th Street S.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49546.  Please contact the hotel directly online at http://www.crowneplaza.com/grr-airport or phone 616-957-1770 for overnight accommodation information and reservations.  Be sure to ask for rate code “APA” to receive the special $95 (+tax) rate.  The cut off date for room reservations is 9/30/09, after which rooms are subject to availability at prevailing rates

 

Exhibits:  Exhibitors will be available all day on Thursday (8:00-5:30).

 

Dress Code:  Business Casual Attire for all events.

 

Special Dietary Needs:  If you have special dietary needs, please contact Statewide@apadetroit.org no later than October 6, 2009.

 

Continuing Education Credits:  Attention CPPs and FPCs: This meeting has been approved for 10 Recertification Credit Hours (RCH's) by the APA.

Cancellation Policy:  Prior to 9/30/09, the conference fee is refundable less a $25 administrative fee.  Since we must commit to the hotel, no refunds will be given after 9/30/09. Substitute attendees are allowed.

 

 

Charity: This year’s charity is Gilda’s Club of Grand Rapids which provides a free cancer support community for children, adults, families and friends.   Attendees are asked to bring a paper product (paper towels, cups, plates, etc.), youth craft item, (play dough, finger paint, toddler wooden puzzle, etc.), beverage, or other donation   Visit http://www.gildasclubgr.org for more information about the organization and additional donation ideas.
