CHAPTER INFO

The Detroit Chapter of the American Payroll Association is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to providing educational, communication, and networking opportunities for payroll professionals in Detroit and Southeastern Michigan since 1985.

History

The Detroit Chapter of the American Payroll Association was organized in 1985. The Chapter has been hosting several meetings per year since that time. We organized the first Michigan Statewide Conference in 1989. We have twice received "honorable mention" in the APA's Chapter of the Year recognition and took 2nd place in the 2020 National Payroll Week Online Survey Promotion. In 1997 Detroit became the second APA Chapter to have a web site. The website was completely redesigned in 2007, again in 2010 and most recently in 2020.
